1. The Service

BigList helps users discover, organise and track games, movies, TV series and books. You can create public or private lists and, where available, post ratings, reviews, comments, likes and notes. The service and available features may change over time.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you are below the age at which you can consent to online services where you live, use BigList only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Some features require an account. You sign in through Google and are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure. Provide accurate account information and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to BigList. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt for technical operation, display and distribute that content solely to operate, improve and promote the service. This licence ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except where retention is necessary for legal, security or backup purposes.

You are responsible for the content you post and for selecting the appropriate visibility setting. Public content can be viewed and shared by others. Do not post content that you do not have the right to share.

4. Acceptable Use

You must not use BigList to:

• break the law or infringe another person’s rights, including intellectual-property and privacy rights;
• post unlawful, threatening, hateful, abusive, deceptive, obscene or spam content;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organisation;
• interfere with, probe, scrape or overload the service, bypass security measures, or introduce malware;
• use the service to collect personal data about other users without their permission.

5. Catalogue Data and Third-Party Services

BigList may display metadata, images, videos and other material supplied by third parties, including TMDB, IGDB and Google Books. Their names, trademarks and content belong to their respective owners. Such material is provided for discovery and organisational purposes and may be incomplete, unavailable or inaccurate.

BigList is not affiliated with or endorsed by those providers unless expressly stated. Your use of Google Sign-In and any third-party links is governed by the relevant third party’s terms and privacy policy.

6. Moderation and Termination

We may remove content, restrict access, suspend or terminate an account when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, to protect users or the service, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will give notice. You may stop using BigList at any time and can request deletion of your account by contacting us.

7. Availability and Disclaimers

BigList is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we do not promise that the service will always be secure, uninterrupted, error-free, available, or that any catalogue or user content will be accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BigList will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill or business opportunities arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, law or our practices. We will post the revised Terms here and update the date above. If you continue using BigList after the revised Terms take effect, you accept them.
