Drama

Johan Ludvig Heiberg

Authors: Johan Ludvig Heiberg
Print type: BOOK

Description:

"Johan Ludvig Heiberg (1791-1860) and Ludvig Holberg (1684-1754) were two of the few dramatists whom Henrik Ibsen admired. This collection includes the one-act vaudeville No (with eight witty new lyrics by Michael Flanders), Jeppe of the Hill, a Danish version of The Taming of the Shrew, and The Scatterbrain. Together they prove that lively prose and fast-moving action always survive the test of time."--Jacket.
