STRICTLY DANDIA

Drama

Kristine Landon-Smith, Sudha Bhuchar, SUDHA BHUCHAR

Authors: Kristine Landon-Smith, Sudha Bhuchar, SUDHA BHUCHAR
Print type: BOOK

Description:

"Strictly Dandia takes us into the world of the Navratri Festival where regional and caste rivalries abound as competitors bid to outdo each other with smart moves and step variations. When an outsider dances his way to the heart of the most eligible girl during a discodandia competition, allegiances are challenged. The play is an affectionately satirical tribute to British Gujaratis adapting their Hindu dance festivities to London street culture."--BOOK JACKET.
