Imogen Stubbs

Authors: Imogen Stubbs
Print type: BOOK

Description:

"Inspired by the true wartime history of the Osiris Players, Imogen Stubbs' new comedy follows the adventures of a small group of women who come together to form a 'girls only' theatre company to take the plays of Shakespeare around a culture-starved Britain." "While the men are fighting Hitler and the bombs are blitzing London, these hopelessly mismatched individuals from entirely different social backgrounds embark on a crazy adventure, crammed into their battered 1920s Rolls-Royce. Together and separately they are forced to discover what life is like without men, and, eventually, how they must survive when they have only each other."--BOOK JACKET.
