Overview:

An innocent young girl, jealously cared for and protected by her mother, finds herself in the middle of a conflict between two suitors who seek to conquer her, the first is a cousin who poses as a poet and the other is a muleteer of the farm. Her mother tries to help her but to no avail, and the young girl suffers the unjust consequences of the rivalry.
